MORRISDALE - Harold W. (Woody) Steiner, 69, of Morrisdale died Wednesday, Dec. 28 1988, at 8:30 p.m. in Philipsburg State General Hospital. Born May 5, 1919, in Woodland, he was the son of John F.and Emma Rupe Steiner, who preceded him in death along with a son, Lesley, two brothers and two sisters. Mr. Steiner is survived by his wife Mildred Hubler Steiner; Two sons, John and Elwood, both ofMorrisdale R.D.; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Graham of Morrisdale and Mrs. Verna Miles of Port Matilda R.D.; eight grand-children and four great-grand-children. A retired coal miner, Mr. Steiner was a member of Woodland Church of Christ and was a U.S. Army verteran of World War II. Services will be held Satruday at 2 p.m. at Strange and Weaver Home for Funerals, Morrisdale, with Brother Kenneth Thompson officiating. Interment will be in Summit Hill Cemetery. Friends my call at the funeral home tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Satruday until the time of service. Military hornors will be accorded by members of the Philipsburg American Legion and Philipsburg VFW.
