      Death notice, York (PA) Daily Record, April 11, 2005: Harry A. Tritt, 89, died at 1:45 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2005, at the Southeastern Veterans Center in Spring City. He was the husband of the late Frances D. (Decker) Tritt. He was born July 7, 1915, in Akron, Ohio, a son of the late John E. and Amelia (Schneider) Tritt. Harry retired in 1986 from Hamme Associates Architects & Engineers,York, where he worked as a project developer. He was a member of Dover Bethany United Methodist Church, where he was a former Trustee Chairman of the Board of Administration and a substitute Sunday school teacher in the adult department. He was a past president of York County Federation of Men's Bible Classes; a member of Eastgate Lodge AF&AM, Cumberland, Md. for more than fifty years; and a member of York Forest #30 Tall Cedars of Lebanon. Harry was a WWII U.S. Army veteran, serving in the 38th Calvary Reconnaissance Squadron. He is survived by a sister, Gertrude Moreland of Cumberland, Md.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a younger brother, Robert Tritt. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral 11 a.m. Friday and the viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at Emig Funeral Home, 47 N. Queen St., Dover. Burial will follow in Suburban Memorial Gardens where veteran's honors will be presented by York County Veterans Honor Guard. Officiating will be Harry's nephew, the Rev. David Tritt. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Southeastern Veterans Center, 1 Veterans Dr., Spring City, PA 19475.
