Obituary in the Harrisburg (PA) Patriot-News, Friday, June 18, 1993: Ruby M. King Horning, 83, of Conestoga View Nursing Home, Lancaster, formerly of Millersville and Hummelstown, died yesterday in the home. She was retired from Hestico, Hummelstown, where she was a machine operator, and was a member of Shope's United Methodist Church, Hummelstown, and the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. Surviving are a son, Hoyt R. Sumpter of Pequea; a daughter, Patsy C. Savidge of Millersville; a stepdaughter, Martha Sheets of Mechanicsburg; a sister, Willa M. Taylor of Lindsay, Okla.; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson. Services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Hummelstown. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Lower Paxton Twp. Viewing will be from 7 to 9 tonight and 1 to 2 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
