      Obituary: Fred G. Reno, age 85, died Thursday in Timken Mercy Medical Center, Canton, after a brief illness. He was a son of the late Joseph E. and Mary E. Dierkort Reno, and had lived most of his life in Canton, moving to Louisville 14 years ago. He was a 1923 graduate of McKinley High School and had played semi-pro football during the 1920's. He retired in 1969 from the City of Canton. He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, the Juilliard Senior Center and was a 50-year member of the Canton Council #341, K of C. Survived by his wife, Ruth E. (Frick) Reno of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Kathryn) Sicker of Canton and Mrs. Joseph (Peggy) Weber of North Canton; two sons, William E. Reno of North Canton and James E. Reno of Canton; a sister, Sr. Mary Consuelle, S. N. D. of Chardon, OH; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Hannon Reno, in 1964; a sister, Sr. Mary Letitia; three brothers, Joseph W., Dr. Edward C. and Paul D. Reno.
